Yeah but at least he agreed to do it.
They all did something to prove it was them that answered the questions though.
Roberts waved to our fans before the game
Chiles and Lawro both said a phrase on MoTD
All good sports, Lawro doesn't use computers though and so I had to do a recorded telephone call with him and interview him.
All good fun until you realise some of the questions took the piss out of his hair and Hillsborough... he laughed at them though to be fair to him. I've liked him ever since

Think you're all seeming to forget that the original VFTO threads were awarded 'fan forum thread of the year' in the Daily Mirror and these were done by One Macca
Along with 'normal' fans he had, Jason Roberts when he played for Blackburn, Adrian Chiles for WBA and Lawro for Liverpool.

i did this for a bit the end of last seaono and i really enjoyed doing it. unfortunately i had a new contract for work come up and just couldn't dedicate the time to do it, it takes longer than you think.
i didn't mind the name calling, as Vinny said before it is only as good as the questions you lot give and the respondent.
i had great help from mods to get it up but it is tough when you don't get the replies until late.
i am happy to do it again if there is a demand but would really appreciate if a couple of people don't mind giving a bit of time to help me with a couple of the things that need doing. i am sorry but with work and the travel i have to do for it i just don't have tall that time each week to put towards it.

I used to really enjoy View from the Opposition.
Some of them were funny, some of them were actually insightful and yes some were dull, but if we did something similar for other teams depending who answered they would be equally as rubbish or not.

The problem with this piece is that you're relying on the opposition supporter being witty.
All questions came from members of WHO, all I did was choose the best ones and ask them. If they don't bite then you have a bland article.
Some were ok, some were like pulling teeth.

Many people have attempted to pick up where Vinny left off, but to no avail.
The bottom line is Vinny was the best and I don't blame him for fucking it off with messages like that.

Anybody slagging off my match thread, would be propping up a motorway somewhere, especially as I've gone upmarket and moved from pie and mash to avocado.
Some of the above, may not be true.
